Numbers you enter (bill totals, tax and fee amounts, tip percentages, split counts, rounding values) are used only to compute outputs. They are never transmitted anywhere.
If recent bills are enabled, a short history of your most recent calculations is stored locally on your device so you can bring one back. It is never uploaded, and clearing it or turning the feature off in Settings removes it.
Receipt scanning is optional and inactive until you tap "Scan Receipt." At that point your device asks for camera permission. The camera frame is analyzed entirely on your device, using Apple's on-device Vision framework, to read the total, tax, and fees printed on the receipt.
No photograph is saved to your photo library or written to storage, and no image or recognized text is transmitted anywhere. The scanned values are shown to you for confirmation and then discarded. Declining camera access simply disables scanning; every other feature continues to work normally.
Pitip does not access your contacts, photo library, microphone, location, or advertising ID.
Pitip does not require you to create an account. No data is collected or transmitted to any server at any time. The app contains no networking code.
The app contains no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks of any kind.
No data is shared with third parties. No advertising identifiers are used.
Pitip is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. All payment processing is handled by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies and terms of service. Bow Echo LLC does not receive or store your payment details.

This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking scripts.
Standard hosting infrastructure may log IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and operational purposes. This data is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Emails sent to support@pitip.app are used solely to respond to and resolve your inquiry. They are not used for marketing or shared with third parties.
Because Pitip does not collect bill entries or personal data on any server, there is nothing to retain or delete from our end.
Server infrastructure logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary for security purposes. Support email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your issue.
Because we don't store personal data or bill entries, there is no profile to access, correct, or delete. Your calculations never leave your device.
To request deletion of support email correspondence, email us at support@pitip.app and we will remove it promptly.
Pitip is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@pitip.app and we will address it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the bottom of this page. Changes take effect when posted. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
